Since we are going to use balanced accuracy metrics for evaluation, I am wondering if the ratio of categories for the testing dataset is the same as training dataset?

Thank you for the quick reply! Can I make the assumption that the ratio of categories for validation dataset (going to be released today) may or may not be the same as testing dataset?
You can make the assumption that we won’t discuss characteristics of the test or the validation dataset. 
Validation data is intended to just help you test your submission pipeline. I wouldn’t recommend you try to fit it.
